I’m having an annoyed day. Epic, in fact. Its the type of day where no amount of caffeine and chocolate will make me a happy camper, and someone should really warn Marmot.
So I thought I’d share my misery, in the form of a list of all the things that currently annoy me.
- Shared Facebook pages. I’m not sure why, but likely because I feel like FB profiles were designed for one person. Not a couple, not a family. And they’re FREE, its not like it costs more if you get two!
- People who charge into the elevator before everyone gets off. This is not a race people!
- The toilet seat being left up in the shared restroom at work. At home, I really don’t care. But at work, it just highlights how nasty the toilets truly are, and then I about pee myself because I have to get a paper towel to put the seat down with.
- Cigarette butts on the sidewalk when I walk to/from work. Its like the only socially-acceptable form of littering.
- And lastly, the fact that no matter how thoroughly I roller myself when I get to work, I find myself picking dog hair off my suit during meetings.

I agree with the shared fb pages. How annoying! And then there’s the awkwardness of trying to get in contact with one of them and not knowing which one is actually reading the message. Annoying.

I agree with everything on your list. Can I add that I hate when people post on FB “I love my husband so much!”. Keep that shit to yourself and find something more interesting to say. I am going to find some chocolate too. Just to commiserate with you.

Ohh, I hate those posts…its like they want to make sure everyone on FB knows how in love they are. I can tolerate it with newlyweds, but my stomach does not tolerate that after the first anniversary…lol

Ok shared facebook pages bug me too. Seriously, how do I know who I’m talking to? Do I need to address my wall post to the correct person? And, what if I want a private conversation online?

Count my vote against shared FB accounts. I’ve never run into one, but I do have a couple siblings who have shared email accounts with their spouses and while I’m a huge proponent of transparency in a marriage, it makes me wonder “what do you think the other person might do if they had their own account?” and “what makes you think this is proof against them having their own secret account anyway?” and finally “what’s the point since only one of you seems to check that email account anyway?”

LOL, I totally feel you on your #1. I know so many people who combine their FB and even email accounts; I mean, I’m all for full disclosure with your spouse, but a woman’s gotta have a little privacy, right?
