So I was reading the One Hot Mama blog, and she was talking about all her favorite baby products…one of the recommendations was a Kalencom diaper bag. I investigated further, and was thrilled with what I found- specifically the Eleanor collection. I love the bright colors, the funky animals, and the bag seems to be laid out well for baby stuff. (I don’t have baby experience, but I haul around a laptop, portfolio, makeup kit, hairbrush, lint roller, and all manner of purse miscellaneous in my work bag, which has to count for something in bag evaluation, right??) And Marmot was impressed with how not-girly they were, and the fact that he’s willing to carry one of them says a lot for the male likeability factor!

This giveaway is entirely because I like the bags, I was not asked to promote Kalencom diaper bags nor was I compensated for the review…but I will try harder to arrange that next time!

Yes I know, this is at least the 80th 8th time I’ve talked about skincare and my issues with finding a good skincare routine, but it still haunts me.

But the routine de jour is Lush, because their store are really cool and I fell in love with bath bombs.

The current routine is:

Lush Coalface cleanser

Lush Tea Tree Water toner

Lush Vanishing Cream moisturizer

Lush Ocean Salt scrub 3-4x a week

And…I’m currently ambivalent. My face feels really soft, especially after the Ocean Salt scrub, but its nothing amazing. I’m going to keep going with it until its gone (if for no other reason that this is about $80 worth of stuff!) and see what happens. I’m really liking the fact that I’m using things made from natural sources, and minimal animal products- but we’ll see if that holds true when it comes time to buy more. Hah!

I got the Noubar soap which while not particularly lather-y, the smell is amazing- I could describe it as grass + dirt, but its better than that, and I do find myself smelling my hands after using it. It has pistachios in it, but do not eat them while you are bathing, they don’t taste like regular pistachios. Just so you know.

But the thing that Lush is known for however is the bath bombs, of which I am addicted. And I’m not one to hide my addictions, I would like to share them with you. In the form of a Butterball bath bomb, just for commenting and telling me what your skincare routine is. But you could tweet about it too, and leave an extra comment.

Let me introduce: Thirty One, the home of bags that are personalized- and other things- but I’m mostly in love with the bags that are personalized.

They have cute bags, purses, lunch totes, and any number of other fun items!

So I was sent a lunch tote to try out…I got to pick the fabric (pink, gorgeous, yes?) and have it personalized with my initials on the side… how cute is that?? I’ve been really really trying to get better at bringing my lunch to work, rather than eating out- for reasons related to cost and my ever-expanding behind. The lunch tote helps.

Its really good sized too- I was able to carry a large Pyrex container, an orange, a 20oz. bottle of soda, and three 100-calorie packs of Cheezits (yes I know its only good for you if you have ONE of the 100-calorie packs!!) Not to mention, it is SO cute that I got compliments on it from no less than three people on my way into work the first day!

Honey, I want to sign up for the flip flops giveaway but I can’t figure out what I have to do! Its like you’re speaking another language – what is this stuff? Google friend? I’m your Mother for goodness sake, do we have to be friends too! Twitter – Tweet – Swagbugs – Grabbing Blog Buttons?

And what is Feedburn, it sounds like a diet plan. I had better luck understanding you when you were speaking “two year old” – just sign me up for goodness sake.

And I want lots of entries by the way – I think I’ve earned them. One for each hour I was in labor with you. One for every time you bit me when you were breastfeeding. Two for the Sunday morning you told the Pastor that I said the “S-word”. At least three for the time you had projectile vomited onto my new padded office chair. I won an awesome giveaway a few months ago from CSN Stores, and was SO impressed- a whole set of drinkware! I can’t believe I’ve done 100 posts. Mostly I just can’t believe that I’ve had that much to say. Or that you all have been willing to read what I’ve had to say! You all need to get out more!
